16 Dalit families from Chowdadenahalli village, including women and children are out to protest against Food and Supplies Department for denying them ration. They had been assured that they would not be denied rations by the Good and Supplies Minister for Karnataka, UT Khader, however there has been no change and they continue to be denied. The lack of affordable rations has reduced them to eating locally available raw vegetables.
